Meeting Today’s Growing Need
Sargent’s New Product Introduction (NPI) department is another way we leverage our engineering expertise as a trusted OEM to identify and manage emerging aircraft repair opportunities.

Through NPI, we’re placing R&D for aftermarket services alongside manufacturing in order to test advances in design on our own production components while gearing up for the inevitable repairs of those products later.

NPI places extra emphasis on designated engineering representative (DER) repairs and parts manufacturer approval (PMA) components. In fact, out of the 60 repairs we’ve rolled out since NPI’s creation, a high percentage have been DERs.

With these additional MRO services – and more on the way – we continue our commitment to understanding and responding to customers who outsource aircraft repair, rather than maintain such capabilities in-house.
