Life Insurance – SC&A offers company paid life insurance to it employees with the option to purchase additional life insurance for:

 

  • Additional Employee Life – Employees may purchase from 1 to 4 times their annual salary in life insurance. (Evidence of Insurability is required for amount more than 2 times the annual salary.
  • Spouse Life Insurance – Employees may purchase life insurance for their spouse in the amount of 10K, 25K, 50K and 100K, not to exceed 50% of the employees total life insurance coverage.
  • Dependent Life Insurance – Dependents can be covered in the amounts of 5K and 10K.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment – Sargent Controls & Aerospace provides this benefit at no cost to you. This insurance provides payments for injuries that result in the loss of limbs or eyes that occur from an accident. The insurance also provides additional life insurance should your death be the result of an accident.

Disability Coverage

 

  • Short-Term Disability – Employees are automatically enrolled, at no cost, in basic Short-Term Disability in the amount of 60% of their monthly earnings.
  •  Long Term Disability – Employees automatically receive basic long-term disability coverage equal to 60% of their pay, up to a monthly maximum of $9,000. Benefits begin when STD benefits are exhausted, provided you remain disabled.
